Here we have gathered information on how you can easily and safely travel by bus to experience Brännbollsyrans Cup Weekend 29-30 May 2026.
Welcome to experience Cup Weekend and the World Championships in brännboll. The city buses in Umeå are called Ultra and are blue or green. With these buses, you can easily get to and from the brännbollscupen that is held at Mariehemsängarna in Umeå.
Brännbollsyran will be divided into two weekends in 2026. First up is Cup Weekend on 29–30 May. The following weekend it will be Brännbollsyrans Festival Weekend. See link below.
Brännbollscupen (Mariehemsängarna)
The Brännbollscupen itself is played at Mariehemsängarna in Umeå divided into two playing areas. The first group games start on Thursday. Lines 1, 2 and 7 pass adjacent to the match area. Lines 1 and 2 run most often and are therefore the easiest travel option.
Night buses Friday and Saturday
We run night buses as usual on Friday 29 May and Saturday 30 May during the cup.
Bus ticket - our tips
We recommend getting a visitor ticket in Ultra, Umeå's public transport. Then you can travel freely within Umeå's public transport and with the airport bus. The options are 24 hours for SEK 80 or 72 hours for SEK 160. You can buy the visitor ticket in Ultra's app under the period category, at the Travel Info offices and at our agents.
