Yran - Festival Weekend 2026
Here we have gathered information on how you can easily and safely travel by bus to experience Brännbollsyrans Festival Weekend 5-7 June 2026.
Welcome to experience Festival Weekend. The city buses in Umeå are called Ultra and are blue or green. During Festival Weekend, we have extra trips between Vasaplan and Nolia. With these buses, you can easily get to and from the festival.
Brännbollsyrans Festival Weekend at Hedlunda (Nolia)
The Brännbollsyrans Festival is held centrally at Hedlunda in the Nolia area (5-7 June). To easily get to Nolia, take an Ultrabus, line 1 or 7 and get off at the Dragonskolan stop and you are on site. Our extra trips will primarily run between the Dragonskolan stop and Vasaplan/Umeå center. See map below.
Brännbollsyran will be divided into two weekends in 2026. First up is Cup Weekend with the World Championships in brännboll and the Brännboll party. See link below.
Night buses Friday and Saturday
We run night buses as usual on Friday 5 June and Saturday 6 June during the festival.
Bus ticket - our tips
We recommend getting a visitor ticket in Ultra, Umeå's public transport. Then you can travel freely within Umeå's public transport and with the airport bus. The options are 24 hours for SEK 80 or 72 hours for SEK 160. You can buy the visitor ticket in Ultra's app under the period category, at the Travel Info offices and at our agents.
