Card balance - number of journeys or days on the bus card
We are now launching a new feature for those who travel with a bus card - Kortsaldo (Card Balance). It allows you to quickly see how many journeys or days you have left on your bus card. Both when planning the trip, before boarding and during the trip.
This is for those who like to travel with a bus card. By scanning the QR code on the back of your bus card, you can now get information about which tickets you have on the card.
Please note, this service is currently only available in Swedish.
How to use the new Card Balance feature
With Card Balance, you can choose between two different ways to check your balance
1. Scan the QR code on your bus card
- Open the camera app on your mobile and point the camera at the code on the back of your bus card
- Click the link that appears on the screen
- Now you can see all your tickets
2. Enter your card number
- Go to the Card Balance webpage.
- Fill in your 16-digit card number which is on the back of your bus card.
- Click Search.
- Now you can see all your tickets
No login is required to use the service. The information you receive is:
• How many journeys/days do I have left?
• Which route/area is the ticket valid in
• Which age category does it apply to
• How much time do I have left to use the journeys?
The service shows both your current ticket and any tickets that you've already bought but not yet activated.
Secure your tickets
You do not need an account to see your card balance, but we recommend that you register your bus card on My Pages to secure your tickets – in case of loss of your bus card, your tickets will be saved in your account.
Running out of journeys?
If your Card Balance shows that you are running out of journeys soon, you can follow the link to My Pages and top up your card with more journeys – cheaper than buying single tickets on board.
There's more than one way to check your card balance
• Log in to My Pages to see all the details of your tickets and buy new journeys
• Visit a Reseinfo office or a staffed bus station
• Call Customer Service on +46 771-100 110
If you have your tickets in the app Ultra-Umeås lokaltrafik or tabussen.nu instead, you will see all ticket details directly in the app.
Card Balance FAQ
The app is a so-called fare medium for your tickets, just like the bus card. If you've chosen to have your tickets on a bus card, it is not possible to see them in the app.
If you want to, you can move your tickets between different fare media using My Pages.
With our new payment system it is not technically possible to see remaining journeys or days when scanning your bus card onboard.
This new feature allows you to check your balance regardless of where you are.
With the current technology in our ticketing and payment system it is not possible. At this moment, we cannot tell if or when it could be possible again.
