New departure points at Vasaplan for major earthworks
From Monday 30 November 2026, major groundwork will start in Umeå city centre, which means that large parts of the bus traffic at Vasaplan will have new bus stop locations.
Here is information on how bus traffic will be moved to new stop locations from 30 November during the municipality's groundwork. According to the forecast, the work will take about a year. This affects both regional traffic and Ultra's traffic. There will be a new stop map that applies during the work. The map below applies from 30 Nov 2026.

For Ultra, Umeå's public transport
Line 1 towards Umedalen, 7 towards Rödäng and 81 towards Klockarbäcken with stop location C will be moved to position K on Vasagatan.
Line 1 towards Ö Ersboda with stop C will be moved to position L on Vasagatan.
For regional transport
Bus 11 with stop K will be moved to stop Z
Bus 17 with stop position L will be moved to stop position N
Bus lines 15 and 55 with stop K will be moved to position Q
Bus 16 with stop location M will be moved to stop Z.
Bus routes 105, 114, 126 and 127 with stop location M will be moved to stop position W.
Bus 114 with stop location M will be moved to stop A
Bus 118, 120 with stop position N will be moved to stop position W.
Bus routes 123, 124, 125, 176 and 179 with stop L will be moved to stop M.
Bus routes 133 and 137 with stop location M will be moved to stop position N
