Within public transport, we are constantly working with safety and security, both at regional and national level. Länstrafiken Västerbotten follows the industry-wide program Safety and Security.
Travelling together contributes to benefits for the environment, climate, congestion and road safety. In order for more people to choose public transport, it is important that the passenger feels that it is safe and secure.
Through the industry-wide programme for Safety and Security, we agree to work to further improve safety and security in public transport. This means that when we procure our traffic in Västerbotten, we comply with the requirements included in the program. Länstrafiken Västerbotten is part of the Partnership for improved public transport.
