Sjukhusbacken in Umeå closed during renovation
During the summer, the ground heating in Sjukhusbacken in Umeå will be fixed. This means that the bridge is closed from week 25, June 16 and during the summer.
As the hospital hill will be closed during the summer from 16 June for renovation, there will be a temporary route for the buses via Nytorgsgatan and Järnvägsallén. The stops Fabriksgatan, Länsstyrelsen, Östra Strandgatan, Järnvägsgatan and Östermalmsgatan will be temporarily withdrawn during the renovation of the hospital hill.
The renovation and closure of the hospital hill is expected to begin in week 25 (from 16 June) and continue during the summer. Follow the traffic information in the app or here at the top of the web under "Show traffic info locally in Umeå".
