Period ticket

If you travel the same distance daily and for at least a month, a period ticket is probably the most advantageous for you.

Period tickets are a route-bound and distance-dependent travel pass and are valid for an unlimited number of journeys on the specified route during the validity period and are also valid for Norrtåg. If the distance for a one-way journey exceeds 67 km, the period ticket automatically becomes a County ticket.

The easiest way to buy period tickets is in the app or through My Pages, but you can also buy them on the bus or at one of our sales agents in the county.

Terms and conditions for period tickets

The period ticket is valid for 30 days from the first journey. As a traveller, you choose which route you want to buy. If the ticket is loaded with a point in Umeå or in Skellefteå, the city buses in Skellefteå / Umeå are also included. If the route on the ticket is set to be valid for Umeå, travel with the airport bus in Umeå is also included.

It is not permitted to use the ticket on a route other than the one indicated. The ticket is not personal.

The first trip needs to be made within 180 days from the date of purchase, if the first journey is not made within these days, the period will expire. 

When purchasing a period ticket to a bus card, in cases where the traveller does not already have a card, a card fee (currently SEK 50) is added to the price.
