Discount tickets

Do you ever travel once in a while? With a discount ticket, you can always take the bus if you feel like it, and you also travel cheaper than if you buy a one-way ticket.

Discount tickets are loaded with 6 or 10 journeys between two cities, including any transfers. You can buy discount tickets in the app Tabussen.nu, on the bus or at one of our sales agents. 
At the sales agents and on My Pages, you can also choose 20 journeys.

The ticket is registered when boarding the bus's card reader. The price for children corresponds to about 50% of the adult price. The price of the ticket is between 16-20% lower than the single ticket price for each trip, depending on the route in question. Discount tickets are available for adults, children, youth and seniors with the same price as for youth.

The discount ticket is not personal, but only one person can travel on the discount ticket. It is not permitted to use the ticket on a route other than the one indicated. As a passenger, you choose which route you want to load on the ticket. 

Terms and conditions of the discount ticket

The first trip needs to be made within 180 days from the date of purchase. If the first journey is not made within these days, the period will expire. The validity of the ticket is 365 days after the first journey.

If the ticket is loaded with a point in Umeå or in Skellefteå, transfer is valid within 1 hour of the estimated time of arrival to/from the urban traffic in Skellefteå / Umeå.
If the route on the ticket is set to be valid for Umeå, the card is also valid for transfer within 1 hour of the estimated time of arrival to/from the airport bus in Umeå.

When purchasing a discount ticket for a bus card, in cases where the passenger does not already have a card subject, a card fee (currently SEK 50) is added to the price.
