As of 1 December 2024, the Annual Pass is no longer available in the ticket selection. Now we refer to the regular ticket selection until further notice.

We want to supplement the information that was sent out on September 10 about the expiration of the annual pass.
As you were informed about in the previous mailing, the annual pass as a service will expire as of December 1, 2024.
From 1 December, we will not have a replacement service to offer in place of the annual pass. We are working on a solution where you as a traveler can sign up for a subscription service that runs automatically until you cancel the service. However, the subscription service will not be comparable to an annual pass with direct debit. At present, we do not know when such a solution can be in place from our supplier. For the time being, we refer to our current ticket selection, where we have, for example, season tickets and discount tickets.
You can continue to travel on physical bus passes
We need to clarify based on the last mailing that it is still possible to travel on a physical bus card. Alternatively, in one of our apps, Tabussen.nu or Ultra, Umeå public transport.
For those who want to continue travelling on a physical bus card
When your annual pass stops working on 1 December, you can have your annual pass exchanged for a new physical card that you can then load with trips or days. You can exchange your card at one of our staffed bus stations or at one of our Travel Info offices. You can also get a new empty bus card sent to your home, which you can load on our webshop or on board the bus. To have a card sent to your home, contact us on arskort@tabussen.nu or 0771-100 110.

You can continue to travel with a physical bus card
Even though we are discontinuing the Annual Pass as a product/service, you can continue to travel with a bus card if you wish. The difference is that you cannot have an annual pass as a product on the bus card. From 1 December, you can have our other ticket selection, such as season tickets and discount tickets, on your bus card.

The annual pass ends in the ticket selection from 1 December
This is happening in connection with the fact that in 2024, together with five other actors, we adapt the current ticketing systems to a new national standard for public transport.
As part of this, Länstrafiken has launched a new app where you can buy both period and discount tickets. Our ambition is for passengers to choose to travel with the app instead of physical bus cards. This means that you will be able to easily buy and manage your tickets in the app.
The app is not only a ticket carrier, but also your journey planner, i.e. you can search for trips, see buses on the map, buy your tickets. There are also more new features in the new app.
In connection with replacing our ticket and payment system, we are also replacing the physical bus cards. If you want to continue using the app instead of using the app, that's great. But then you need to exchange your annual pass for a new bus card before 1 December.
More information on how to do that will be announced here as it approaches.
What do I need to do now?
You as a customer do not need to do anything. The last charge will be made during the month of October and the last day to travel on your annual pass is November 30, 2024. Then your agreement with us will automatically end.
