The app is really simple and straightforward once you get going (available in Swedish and English). In order to pay for your journey using the app you need to register a payment method. Do as follows if you want to register a payment card:
1. You register your payment card with the app the first time you purchase a ticket. The following cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and JCB. You are now app and running!
2. Pay for your journey by entering your card’s three-digit CVC code (for payment card transactions) or your pin code (for payment on invoice with no service charge). Simple!
3. Board the bus and show the driver your smartphone display.
You can also choose to pay with "Klarna" invoice (over 18s only) if you have a Swedish personal identity number and with Swish.
We have a number of sales points throughout Umeå. These fall into two categories: Travel information centres where you can purchase tickets and obtain travel information. Retailers where you can only purchase tickets (all tickets are available except student passes for those aged 26 and over, which may only be purchased at travel information centres. Proof of study required).
You can pay by either payment/credit card or cash at all sales points. Cards for students are only sold at our three Reseinfo centres.
If you have a bus pass you can load it with all types of journeys and days via our webshop here at www.tabussen.nu The webshop can be found in the upper right corner here at this website.
Here you can also choose the language in which you wish to view information.
To log into the webshop you must first create a user account and enter the card number of the bus pass you wish to load. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours until your journeys are available on the card, so ensure you load it well in advance.
